How to choose between them

Decide on the journey home first, then on the room. Pomorie is the shortest run; Nessebar and Sunny Beach have the beds. A kitchen matters more than a pool on a week when the shows end near midnight.

If the arena run is what you care about, Golden Sun Apartments in Pomorie is the closest base on this coast and the only self-catering one, which means breakfast at noon after a late night is your call. If you want a resort with the beach at the door, Caesar Palace and Golden Dune are both within a minute or two of the sand in Sunny Beach, and both sell contest week online today. Opal is the all-inclusive option for families who want nothing to organise, and Sunny Beach Garden is the one for a fan club, a tour group or anyone booking a block of rooms: ninety rooms, full board, contracted directly. Ren House is for anyone who would rather be in Nessebar than in a resort at all.

Whichever you pick, read getting to Arena Burgas before you book, because the return leg after a show is the part of the week that needs a plan.

Between about 20 and 35 km by road. Golden Sun Apartments in Pomorie is the closest at 25 to 30 minutes off-peak; Ren House in Nessebar is 35 to 45 minutes; the Sunny Beach hotels are 40 to 50 minutes. Allow more on a show night.
Why book direct instead of through a booking site?

Are these hotels open in May?
Golden Dune opens on 1 May 2027 specifically for contest week, ahead of its usual late-May start, and Caesar Palace, Ren House and Golden Sun have May on sale. Sunny Beach Garden takes organised groups by direct contract rather than individual bookings. Parts of the wider Sunny Beach resort, bars and restaurants included, open later in the month.
